Here’s an article in the New York Times about one woman’s experience with painkiller addiction. Taking up to 50 Vicodin a day? Crazy! But a good story of hope and recovery, and gaining one’s life back from the struggles of addiction.

Interesting video on the CNN website talking about the binge drinking epidemic in Britain. There are a lot of good points brought up in this short video…a good sample of what binge drinking can do to people.

A couple of weeks ago, Newsweek printed their cover story on finding an addiction vaccine. I think the breadth and depth of the article was amazing- great coverage on new work with the medical side of treatment and the innovations in the recovery process, as well as combining it with a program of recovery.
