I never watch TV, but this AM I was bored in a hotel room and I turned it on and there you were on the Mike and Juliet Show. Just wanted to let you know that you were awesome, and I loved it.

It was great to see you as an example of recovery and Wonderland.

Dr. Keith Ablow applauds Wonderland’s Executive Director Howard Samuels: “You’re a great inspiration.” after Dr. Samuels appeared on Fox’s “The Mike and Juliet Show” http://www.mandjshow.com/ discussing the recent findings by researchers at the University of Iowa linking certain genetic profiles to a person’s risk for developing nicotine addiction. Howard provided viewers with straight facts about smoking, while revealing his own two decades of recovery from cigarettes, heroin and alcohol. Substance-abuse disorders are commonly believed to be related to “moral will”, these new links to genetic predisposition to addiction help remove the shame and stigma associated with addictive disorders.
