OUR PROGRAMS ARE INDIVIDUALIZED TO YOUR NEEDS...
We developed our services from our own professional experience in conjunction with the latest addiction research. Each member of our team is an expert in their field and play an integral part in our recovery services. Our clinical team is led by Wonderland Center's founders Dr. Howard C. Samuels and Bernadine Fried, MFT. Detox services are offered by Dr. Steven Jacobs who has 23 years of detoxification and addiction experience and is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Jacob’s medical team has expertise in providing detoxification services for most drugs including alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines. Psychiatric services are offered by Dr. Reef Karim, an attending psychiatrist at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute specializing in addiction treatment. Our clinical supervisor is Bruce Turner, MA and Jorja Davis, MFT is our primary therapist and family program director. WE OFFER A VARIETY OF TREATMENT LENGTHS INCLUDING OUR 7 DAY ASSESSMENT AND DETOXIFICATION TO JUMPSTART YOUR RECOVERY...
In our residential programs our clients live in beautiful homes on a 3 acre private gated estate and enjoy the servicesof a gourmet chef, nutritionist, fitness trainers, yoga instructors and spiritual guides. Every Saturday we have a full day program for the families. We offer specialized therapy and groups for trauma, anger management, grief and loss, love addiction, gambling, codependency, eating disorders, relapse prevention and workaholism. The length of stay varies depending on the severity of addiction, the type of substance used, any secondary or co-occurring disorders, medical history and prior treatment experience. We offer extended care (Sober Living™)for clients that have completed treatment and we do accept clients from other programs. In our Outpatient Program, our clients live at home and participate in either day or evening sessions. The Outpatient Program is helpful to anyone in their first year of recovery. Wonderland Center's Outpatient Program has been approved by the State Bar of California's Legal Assistance Program.
